Chachapoyas to Lima

After a late evening stop at the Chiaclayo Movilrours terminal, we were taken to a nice large place outside of town to eat. Then it was time to go to sleep. The next morning, when I woke up, I saw the Pacific next to me. We were getting close to Lima.

The change from the large sand dunes near the ocean to the city was gradual but about as expected.

Inka Farma is everywhere, and the place to go when you need some bandaids or other little items.

Early morning, regardless of where you are, has the same feeling about it. One of several creative high rises in the center of the modern part of Lima

These two sweet girls in the upstairs terminal grill took care of me - not easy, without me speaking Spanish

Inside the Cruz del Sur secure terminal in Lima

Cruz del Sur has great bus terminals. They also have video screens and free movies for you to enjoy in the luxury compartment of the buses, but it ends there. Let me explain, they are absolutely loathe to let anyone get off the bus. No warm meals, no restaurant stops. It's ham & cheese sandwiches and endless rides. Drove me nuts.
